Mike Aho moved to Paris, France at 18 years old, attended classes
at the Sorbonne then graduated from UCLA's School of Film and TV.
He won the Charles Boyer Fellowship which took him back to Paris to
study film. After graduating, he got his first directing job for a
TF1 documentary series, then was hired as the show runner and
director for "StarNews" a M6 weekly television entertainment
magazine. He also ran and directed the travel adventure show
"Grandeur Nature". After a few more French television shows, he
moved to London and produced/directed a feature documentary for
RapidoTV. After 10 years in Europe, Mike returned to Los Angeles to
work on the reality show "Cold Turkey". He then worked on a few
reality shows for Glassman Media, then moved to NYC to work on
Queer Eye. He is back in Los Angeles, having just finished working
as the show runner for the new season of "Take Home Chef".
He is also developing his own reality shows. |
